Well, at least for a little while.
So what’s been happening since my last proper post in January?
Well, I’ve had a few opportunities to use my new flashgun, and I’ve got some amazing shots with it. I absolutely love it! There will be some pictures at the bottom of this post.
At college, we’ve spent the last 6 weeks working on a corporate piece for the Uniformed Services course. After some convincing from my tutor, I got assigned the roll of Director. This meant that I was in charge of pretty much everything. I found it quite difficult on the first day of shooting, due to not fully understanding what we was supposed to be doing, or where we were supposed to be. Everything got thrown at us at once, and it got a little bit overwhelming. However, on the second day of shooting, I knuckled down, and took a bit more of a commanding roll. The area we was shooting in was smaller, and everything was a lot more organised. When my tutor spoke to the group at the end of the shoot, he complimented me on my directing skills, and the improvement between the two days. From what I’m aware, the edit has been completed, and being shown to the client on Monday (4th April). Once it has been written off, I will try and get a copy to put up on here to show all you lovely people who read my blogs [=
